QRDKEY · Our own product

The key is on your phone: access with a dynamic QR code.

QRDKEY is our access keyring: the app shows a QR code that changes every few seconds, works without coverage and opens barriers, doors and locks through a controller we fit to what you already have. Already in production on car-park barriers.

Keys that cannot be copied or lost

A photo or screenshot of the QR code will not get anyone in: the code is computed on the phone itself and expires in seconds. The app blocks screenshots and only shows keys after unlocking with fingerprint or face.

  • Privileges per key: which doors it opens, on which days and hours, until when, or for a single use
  • Guest keys that expire or work once, for example for couriers or guests
  • Instant revocation from the management panel
  • A log of who came in, where and when

The controller and the panel

The app is free for whoever opens the door. What the access manager installs is the QRDKEY controller at the door and the management panel, both by VOIPMINIC.

  • Controller with QR and RFID reader, Ethernet and Wi-Fi, wired to the existing barrier, door or lock
  • Four ways to open: dynamic QR code, a button in the app, an RFID card or a call from an authorised number
  • Management panel to issue, limit and revoke keys
  • Installed and maintained by our technicians in Manacor

Who it is for

Anywhere many different people come and go and keys and remotes end up copied or lost.

  • Car parks and barriers
  • Residents' associations and storage units
  • Holiday lets and hotels: send the key before your guests arrive and revoke it when they leave
  • Offices, coworking spaces, sports clubs and marinas
  • Logistics and industrial estates: single-use keys for hauliers
  • Home cleaning services

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with no coverage in the car park or garage?

Yes. The key is stored on the phone and the code is computed on the device itself, offline; the controller verifies it locally.

What if someone takes a photo of the QR code?

It is useless: the code changes every few seconds and the app blocks screenshots while a key is displayed.

Do I have to replace the barrier or the lock?

No. The QRDKEY controller connects to the barrier, door or lock you already have and adds a QR and RFID reader.

How much does it cost?

The app is free (Android 7 or later; iOS coming soon). The controller and the panel are quoted by number of doors; ask for a demo.
